City of Charlottetown pulls plug on parking kiosks

The Guardian: A two-year Charlottetown parking-kiosk experiment is officially over.

ParkSmart, the company that designed the kiosks, originally had given them to the city on a six-month trial basis. When the city decided to extend the trial beyond six months, ParkSmart wanted a share of the revenue the kiosks generated as was stated in its contract with Charlottetown.
