SALT LAKE CITY - Touchpad manufacturer Cirque Corp. has released a new line of micro keyboards that can be adapted for kiosks and mobile devices. The GMK 100I is designed for capacitive touchscreen applications in rugged environments.
The keyboard responds to the centermost point of the finger, easing hand strain. A toggle button on the device allows users to switch between keyboard and cursor commands. The module measures 3.37 inches by 2.32 inches and weighs seven ounces, and uses RS232 or serial TTL communication protocols.
The company did not disclose any price points in announcing the product's release on Jan. 7.
