Cinema sells 10% of its tickets at kiosk

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia -- When the IT manager of Kolosej cinema realized that 10 percent of the tickets sold at his venue were sold at a kiosk, he suggested the company install another kiosk in the lobby. The installation of the two ticket kiosks in the Kolosej is the result of cooperation between software developer Logina IT, and ticket provider Programskega ateljeja AZ.

SITI Kiosk program module controls the ticket kiosk's operation. The kiosks main functions are cash-free sale and printing of tickets that were purchased by a visitor through M-ticket or the Kolosej online store.

Additional functions include showing transactions on the cinema debit card, showing how many tickets have been sold for each movie, and alerting of show sellouts.

The newest ticket kiosk enables communication with a visitor through an added advertisement panel, which can also serve for speeding up promotion for a movie, movie events or any other service.
