Chicago's elevate DIGITAL raises $4M for expansion efforts

Chicago-based Elevate DIGITAL, developer of interactive street-level software technology, announced the company has raised funding for expansion efforts.

Chicago-based Elevate DIGITAL, developer of interactive street-level software technology, announced the company has raised funding for expansion efforts.

The $4 million in Series B funding, led by Advantage Capital Partners, will allow the company to open an office in Las Vegas. The opening will create roughly 17 news jobs, enhance technical support and facilitate vertical market development, the elevate said.

Elevate will also advance its interactive software platform and expand its loT/Smart City offering.

"Elevate is transforming traditional methods of communication, by enabling brands, municipalities and locations to engage with people and devices. Content, messaging, services and technology now have a voice and create engagement with users,” said George Burciaga, founder and CEO of elevate DIGITAL, in a company press release. "Our platform represents the next generation of social interaction at the street level, while contributing to a connective eco-system."

"Our relationship with elevate DIGITAL began in 2012, and we are happy to continue our support with this additional investment as they expand the business in Nevada” said Anthony Metzner, vice president at Advantage Capital Partners, in the announcement.

“Their work thus far has been impressive and we are looking forward to being a part of their future growth. Advantage Capital has invested in a number of small businesses in Nevada through the state New Markets initiative, and our new investment with elevate DIGITAL in the Las Vegas market represents our ongoing commitment to funding economic growth in the state.”
