Chicago suburb approves Carvana vending tower over community opposition

Lawmakers in Skokie, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, approved Carvana's plan to build a 14-story glass vending machine to dispense cars, despite community opposition, according to a CBS report.

Residents objected to the proposed tower since it will be located next to a nature preserve and are concerned that migrating birds will collide with the tower.
