Chicago museum deploys SeePoint kiosk, digital signage solution

SeePoint, a California-based provider of interactive kiosk solutions, has announced a partnership with Chicago's Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum. According to a news release from SeePoint, Adler will install the Interstellar Boundary Explorer, or IBEX, solution in a one-unit deployment.
SeePoint says the interactive system combines a touchscreen kiosk and digital display to teach visitors about rockets:
The IBEX kiosk is located near a main theater and displays changeable content about staged rocket systems. The kiosk helps communicate the purpose of the rocket artifact through text information, which displays continually on the large-format LCD, and through interactive flash games, facilitated via touchscreen. The combination of digital signage and interactive kiosks takes visitors on an 'out of this world' educational adventure.
SeePoint also is providing preloaded software for the IBEX kiosk deployment.
