Taiwan News: Thanks to a loophole in a self-service check-in system, a passenger at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport was able to breach security and enter off-limits areas of the terminal for more than 40 hours earlier this week, the Aviation Police Office said Thursday. From the passenger's account of her actions, aviation police authorities learned of a loophole in the air carrier's self-service check-in system. According to an officer, the automated system mistakenly issued the passenger a boarding pass in the name of another traveler with the same surname and a reservation for the same flight.
