Charlotte, North Carolina, is partnering with IKE Smart City to deploy interactive digital kiosks throughout the city, with a goal of enhancing public information access and urban navigation, according to a media release. The initiative includes opportunities for residents to engage directly with city officials, Charlotte Department of Transportation staff and IKE Smart City representatives, as well as test a kiosk firsthand. A public survey will also be available to gather community input on content priorities for the new system.

An informational event is scheduled for March 23, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center lobby, located at 600 E. Fourth St. in Charlotte. The session will provide an overview of the project and allow attendees to ask questions and offer feedback on the rollout.
