Charlotte lands US headquarters for Italy EV charging station maker

Alpitronic, an Italy-based manufacturer of EV charging stations, will invest $18.3 million to build a 70,000-square-foot U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, creating 300 jobs, according to a Winston Salem Journal report.

The company makes DC charging stations that recharge vehicles with up to 400 kilowatts.

In addition to its administrative operations, the Americas headquarters will have a technology, test and repair center at the headquarters.
