LOS ANGELES - Internet business and technology developer GenesisIntermedia.com Inc. (Nasdaq:
GENI), (PCX: GNS; Frankfurt Stock Exchange: GIA), announced that it had signed an agreement with The Krausz Companies that will help the continued rollout of the Centerlinq kiosk network. November and December are expected to be aggressive deployment months for Centerlinq.The Centerlinq network provides Internet access via a touchscreen terminal and offers one of the largest loyalty shopping programs in the United States. In addition to Internet access, Centerlinq kiosks provide coupons, directories of stores, marketing calendars, e-mail and quick-touch access to high-profile national and regional advertising partners.
The Krausz Companies will install Centerlinq in the Puente Hills Mall in the San Gabriel Valley east of Los Angeles. This agreement strengthens Centerlinq's position in the country's second largest consumer market, GENI claims. GENI also announced that it signed an agreement to install the Centerlinq network in Burlington Center, a regional mall in Burlington, N.J., which is a suburb of Philadelphia, the fourth largest consumer market in the U.S.
Centerlinq will also be installed in shopping malls in Chicago, Boston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Phoenix. In addition, GENI expects to complete a deal that would expand Centerlinq to six additional Los Angeles-area malls.
