Centerlinq kiosk network grows, begins new installation phase

April 21, 2002

LOS ANGELES - GenesisIntermedia.com Inc. (Nasdaq:

GENI) (Frankfurt Stock Exchange: GIA), a developer of Internet companies and Internet technologies, announced that its Centerlinq public Internet kiosk network is now live in four additional retail properties.

University Mall, Tampa, Fla.; The Plaza Mall, Greenville, N.C.; Briarcliffe Mall, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Valley View Center, Dallas, Texas, are the new additions to the Centerlinq network. The four malls represent consumer foot traffic of over 4 million people per month.

Installations in these four retail properties represent the beginning of the second phase of rollout of the Centerlinq network. During November and December of 1999, GENI initiated the first phase of Centerlinq growth, resulting in the installation of the network in 21 malls. The 2000 phase introduced Centerlinq in more Top 20 consumer markets, including New York City, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas/Fort Worth, Washington, D.C. and Seattle.

Centerlinq is a six-station pavilion-anchored system in which the kiosks are powered by a central core. It supports up to 12 satellite kiosks that can be networked throughout a property. The design features 20-inch LCD screens on the kiosk face and 40-inch plasma screens above the kiosk unit.

More Centerlinq installations are planned within the next few months.
