Planned for convenient sites such as retail stores, the kiosks will help Cellular One customers pay cell phone bills by check or credit card, access personal account information and receive announcements on special promotions and offers. "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Through a private wide area network, the kiosk will be connected to an application Web server. The application is activated on the Web server with a touch of the kiosk screen. The Web server then retrieves account information from the enterprise database server.
An innovative software design makes it possible to control peripheral devices in the kiosk from the remote application Web server. The TouchVision Network Operations Center will monitor the network.
One of the largest operating wireless telephone service brands, Cellular One is available in nearly 12,000 cities and towns throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Bermuda.
TouchVision helps customers publish and distribute broadband media, create e-commerce enterprises and provide interactive information and transaction services both over the Internet and through interactive kiosks.
