An outage of Canada Border Services Agency primary inspection kiosks was reported at some airports across Canada on Thursday morning, June 5, 2025, according to a Montréal City News report.

The CBSA acknowledged the issue in a social media post on X around 7 a.m., stating, "There is currently an outage of CBSA primary inspection kiosks at some airports." The agency added, "We are working with our partners to resolve this issue," and apologized for any resulting inconvenience.

However, Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) informed CityNews that its operations were not affected by this nationwide problem. "There is no impact at YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport," a spokesperson told the news outlet.

The specific cause of the outage or an estimated time for full resolution has not yet been provided.
