Carvana installs its 26th used car vending machine in Detroit area

Carvana, the online used car shopping service that allows customers to pick up their vehicles from a massive vending machine, installed its 26th eight-story, brick-and-glass building in Novi, Michigan, its first in the state, according to a Detroit News report.

The machine, which can hold more than 27 vehicles, is located at 26890 Adell Center Drive.

Carvana, which is publiicly traded, offers an inventory of more than 15,000 used vehicles.

The company entered the Detroit market in 2017 offering at-home vehicle delivery.

The pandemic has accelerated the move toward online car-shopping, according to the report.
