Campus kiosks to offer electronic textbooks, TV and movie downloads

Yahoo! Tech: Kiosks that sell electronic textbooks as well as TV show and movie downloads will soon appear at college bookstores around the country. Digital textbooks will be added by next summer. The Polar Frog Digital kiosks feature an option of downloading content onto a DVD or USB drive. Students can also purchase the downloads online or via mobile phone. NYU, UCLA, San Diego State University, Bowling Green State University, University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, University of Colorado, and the University of Illinois will get the kiosks first.
