CARLSBAD, Calif. - LCD monitor supplier Caltron Industries Inc. on Oct. 1 unveiled two new lines of VGA open frame monitors with large screens that can be adapted for kiosk deployments.
The monitors are 19 and 23.1 inches, respectively, and both feature UXGA 1600 x 1200 resolution. They can be interfaced with NTSC and PAL video formats, and are designed to handle temperatures from 32 to 104 degrees, Fahrenheit, while in operation. Both monitors are available in bonded glass.
The open frame monitors are priced from $1,690 to $1,850 for the 19-inch model, and $3,380 to $3,650 for the 23.1-inch monitor. Samples of the monitors are ready to ship and will be delivered within three to four weeks of ordering.
