California county to expand health supplies in COVID test kit machines

More than 51,000 COVID test kits have been dispensed for free at vending machines since July in Yolo County, California, and the county is planning to offer other health related products as the demand for COVID test kits declines, according to a msn.com report.

The machines will soon offer N95 masks, but the county is also considering adding sunscreen, naloxone, mosquito repellent, pregnancy test kits and test kits for sexually transmitted infections.

The cost for the machines has been covered by public health and COVID-19 response funds.
