Culver City, California lawmakers are exploring the installation of digital wayfinding kiosks provided by IKE Smart City, according to a culvercitycrossroads.com report.
The machines, which require power via electrical conduit and operate on a cellular system, offer public communication, wayfinding, real-time mobility options/transit schedules, air quality information, public art and a local destination directory.
ADA compliant, the machines also include accommodations for blind and low vision users with a 12-language interface.
The management system provides analytics on dwell time and pedestrian travel.
