Police arrested a Detroit man who allegedly made $2,000 a day operating a marijuana vending machine outside of his home., according to a 23ABC News report. According to the criminal complaint, he sold pills in addition to marijuana in the machine, which he operated for about four years.
Police arrested the man, Marcellus Cornwell, and another man after conducting a search of his last known address and found 18 firearms, ammunition and marijuana.
Prior to the search, police made two controlled marijuana purchases from the vending machine in February and March.
Cornwell has a history of convictions as far back as 1997.
