Persons holding U.K. or British Virgin Islands passports will be able to scan passports and respond to questions on newly deployed kiosks at the Terrence B. Lettsome Airport in the British Virgin Islands, according to a press release.

The kiosks use facial recognition verification that can assist in allowing passengers entry into the territory.

"We are working with 'e-government' to make these processes efficient, streamlined and online…we want to ensure [entering the Virgin Islands] is a seamless process," Deputy Premier Kye Rymer said in the press release.
