British Columbia town gets additional EV charging stations

North Delta, a city in British Columba, will have an additional 11 city-owned EV charging stations, according to report to the parks recreation and culture commission. Ladner and Tsawwassen, which are part of North Delta, will have four and six new stations, respectively, according to a delta-optimist report.

Delta already has 18 EV stations while Ladner and Tsawwassen have 10 and two, respectively.

The Level 2 stations charge $2 per hour for the first two hours and $5 per hour thereafter.

The city council also granted preliminary approval for new electric vehicle and bicycle parking and charging requirements in new developments.
