Boulder library offers self-checkout kiosk

Patrons at the Boulder City Library may check out items at a self-checkout kiosk using their library cards and PIN numbers, according to a Boulder City Review report.

Several library items can be checked out simultaneously as the machine is equipped with RFID technology. The machine prints a date due slip.

The cost of the machine was covered by a Statewide Evolving Needs Grant provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act and administered by the Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records.
