A Colorado county has relocated a motor vehicle self-service registration renewal kiosk to make it more accessible to residents.
Boulder County officials have moved the machine from the city's clerk and recorder office to the King Soopers located at 30th and Araphoe, according to a report at The Mountain Ear. The kiosk is now accessible seven days a week.
The county has also eliminated the $3.95 motor vehicle express fee for all county residents using any of the kiosks in the county.
"For well over a year, we have been planning this move and working with our MV Express Kiosk vendor to get our Boulder machine relocated to a more accessible location," Payton Quistorff, Boulder County Clerk & Recorder Motor Vehicle division leader, told the news outlet. "We know that if you need to get your registration renewed in a hurry, that not being able to get to the office during business hours was a challenge."
