Boston transit authority to install fare card vending machines

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, which operates the subways in Boston, will introduce fare card vending machines that will offer the system's CharlieCards, according to a boston.com report.

Riders will not have to get the plastic cards from the 17 bus and subway stations or the CharlieCard store as they do presently.
