Boston area startup installs solar powered kiosks to promote community information

The city of Medford, Massachusetts is the tenth Boston area city to team with Soofa, a Cambridge-based startup, to install solar-powered kiosks to promote community information, according to a wickedlocal.com report.

The five kiosks in Medford will allow people to post information for free and are supported by advertising.

An all-female team from Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology launched Soofa in 2014.
