Bose tunes in Arral for HR kiosks

ONTARIO, Calif. -- Bose Stereo Corp., which develops stereo systems for an array of consumer applications, has reached an agreement with Arral Industries Inc. to develop a line of human resources kiosks for its manufacturing facilities throughout Massachusetts.

Arral will develop 14 kiosks for Bose; the kiosks will be deployed by Aug. 30, according to Arral officials. The kiosk will offer all HR functions to Bose employees, including information on withholding and 401K retirement plans.

Arral 172 standalone kiosks will be utilized, featuring Elo TouchSystems Inc. 15-inch touchscreen monitors and 8.5-inch by 11-inch thermal printers supplied by Practical Automation.

Based in Ontario, Calif., Arral Industries manufacturers a variety of kiosks for clients such as United Airlines, Chase Manhattan, and Budget Car Sales.
