Students at Governor Bent Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico can get books from a vending machine which they buy with gold coins they earn from reading after school, according to a koat.com report. Students earn the gold coins after earning 400 points from reading 20 minutes per night.
Principal Jonathan Saiz said the vending machine, the school's first, promotes literacy and allows students to be rewarded for their efforts.
