A book vending machine that allows students to receive books in exchange for tokens they earn for good behavior has proven a hit at Chestnut Ridge Middle School in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, according to a wtajtv.com report.
Grants from Walmart and the Chestnut Ridge Education Foundation covered the roughly $4,000 cost of the machine.
The school bought the machine after its librarian learned about the concept on social media. A retired teacher provides the books for the machine.
