Bonus miles for kiosk users

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Corporate travelers have an incentive to use a kiosk to rent Alamo cars. For the next couple of months, Alamo Rent A Car will give business travelers triple Delta SkyMiles and a free upgrade for using Alamo's Quicksilver kiosks when renting a car.

Now through July 18, Alamo will issue the extra SkyMiles to Alamo corporate customers who are members of the Delta SkyMiles program.

Alamo's Quicksilver kiosks boast a 60 second rental time. After choosing in advance options online or calling a 1-800 number, users insert a pre-registered credit card or Quicksilver card in the Quicksilver kiosk and receive their contracts and rental car locations. Alamo's kiosks are installed at most airport-serving locations.

Alamo has 109 locations in the United States and Canada, and more than 400 locations in Europe and Latin America. Alamo is a division of ANC Rental Corporation (Nasdaq:ANCX), with revenue of more than $3.5 billion in 2000 and operations in 69 countries.
