LAS VEGAS - Boink Systems Inc., provider of self-service POS platforms for the gaming, hospitality, food and entertainment industries, along with Automated Systems America Inc., an established provider of top-shelf ATM transaction processing, announced in a news release that their first-ever multi-function gaming kiosks will be introduced at the Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa in Cabazon, Calif.
The new 3-in-1 Automated Slot Ticket Redemption/Bill Breaker/ATM kiosks will benefit gamblers who wish to quickly and easily redeem slot tickets for cash, break large bills or retrieve currency - all via an easy-to-use, large, color touchscreen interface. The kiosks will also benefit casinos looking to streamline operating procedures and reduce payroll costs.
The multi-function kiosks are designed to save customers time, eliminate long lines, and provide quick and easy access to cash. In turn, they enhance efficiency, improve the look and feel of the casino environment and can be customized to include entertainment/restaurant information, casino floor plans and more. The sleek design and small footprint command minimal space on the casino floor.
While other self-service platforms from Boink Systems are currently in use throughout Las Vegas establishments, the new 3-in-1 kiosks at Morongo Casino will combine state-of-the-art graphics, high-tech animation and audio to create an interactive, multilingual, consumer friendly transaction process. Dual 19-inch high-definition flat-screen monitors, built-in speakers and back-lit color panels make for an elegantly packaged financial services kiosk that attracts and encourages use.
"At Boink we invent technology that makes people's lives and businesses run more smoothly and more efficiently," said Bill Toro, president and chief executive officer, Boink Systems. "Our new multi-function gaming platform does this, simultaneously attracting users and substantially reducing payroll costs. We're also pleased to merge our slot redemption and bill-breaking technology with full-service ATM capability to create the ultimate gaming/financial kiosk."
Boink Systems partnered with Glendale, Calif.-based ASAI, one of the largest ATM bank processors in the United States, to provide a full range of ATM functions to the kiosks.
"ASAI has provided a range of services to Morongo Casino for a number of years," said John Steely, president and general manager, ASAI. "Our recent partnership with Boink Systems to provide a 3-in-1 multi-function kiosk with ATM was a natural fit, and it furthers our belief in providing consumers with a straightforward, simple way to independently stay connected to their money. This technology is the wave of the future, and we are excited to help make it more readily available."
