Blount County expands car tag renewal kiosk fleet

Blount County, Alabama is expanding its deployment of self-service car tag renewal kiosks, reports Central Alabama News. Following the installation of a kiosk in May at the Blount County Courthouse, a second kiosk is set to be installed at "We-Tote-Em Quick Stop" grocery store in Blountsville.

Blount County plans to install five kiosks in high-traffic areas across the county to provide more convenience for vehicle owners.

Blount County residents can also renew their car tags online or by downloading an app for iPhone or Google Play.

Carroll County, Georgia is also testing self-service tag renewal kiosks, reports Times-Georgian.com.
