Blendid autonomous smoothie kiosk arrives in Florida

Smoothie lovers at Florida Gulf Coast University can get freshly prepared smoothies at a Blendid robotic kiosk at the Cohen Student Union, the first such placement in Florida, according to an eaglenews.com report.

Customers can place customized orders at the tablet on the kiosk or using the Blendid app.

The contactless operating system measures and dispenses precise amounts of ingredients, then blends, pours and stores each smoothie until ready for pickup.
