BIXOLON to display printers at Apps World 2015

Receipt, label and mobile printer manufacturer BIXOLON recently displayed its range of products and its new mobile hub solution at Apps World 2015.

Receipt, label and mobile printer manufacturer BIXOLON recently displayed its range of products and its new mobile hub solution at Apps World 2015. Its new solution enables its printers to sync with tablets or smart devices via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi interface, according to a press release.

The company's printers are designed with specific software drivers and software development kits to allow developers to integrate the devices into point-of sale systems that use multiple platforms, according to the press release.

The mobile hub solution, called the B-Gate mPOS, utilizes Bluetooth or Wi-Fi interface to connect smart devices to various wired POS peripherals.

"The mPOS market is experiencing accelerated growth," said Charlie Kim, managing director of BIXOLON Europe, in the release. "BIXOLON’s range of simple, smart, mPOS solutions is providing developers with the hardware to develop a range of applications to meet challenging customer requirements across a range of environments."
