Law Enforcement Intelligent Devices LLC will demonstrate its Biometric Access Control System, an inventory tracking application for weapons, keys, evidence and critical equipment, at the 121st Annual International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida, October 25-28, at the Orange County Convention Center.

BACS has been used by the U.S. government and law enforcement agencies. It provides self-service pick-up/drop-off of RFID or barcode identified items and monitoring and remote control through web-based asset/evidence management software 24 hours a day. The system enables accountability of stored items in BACS Asset and Evidence Management Systems via electronic chain of custody reports, the company said in an announcement.

The upcoming conference will showcase the BACS ID Station Kiosk interfaced to Electronic Modular Access Units, SmartRail Gun Rack, BACS key cabinet and Electronic Evidence Lockers.
