Biometric payment reaches more than 320,000 Moscow Transport users

Moscow Transport passengers have made 67 million trips since the launch of the biometric fare payment system in 2021, with more than 320,000 users registered in the biometric fare payment system, according to a press release.

The biometric payment system launched in the Moscow Metro in October 2021. Today it is available at all metro stations, including the Moscow Central Circle, river transport and the Aeroexpress airport rail link service.

The service will soon be available on urban surface transport trams and buses and the Moscow Central Diameters.
