Beyond Kiosks taps BancTec for deployment and maintenance solutions

Maryland-based Beyond Kiosks, a subsidiary of Kiosk Group Inc., has selected the Multi-Vendor Services division of Dallas-based BancTec Inc to deliver deployment and maintenance services for the company's custom manufactured, self-service kiosks.
"We have been at the leading edge of developing unique and interesting transactional kiosks, sales exhibits, training programs and other self-service stations for many years, but needed a strong deployment and maintenance partner to ensure our entire offering meets the highest standards of our customers," said Mike James, president of Kiosk Group. "BancTec has a nationwide team of highly-skilled personnel who will be able to provide the services we need, and their aggressive cost structure ensures that we can deliver these services at a rate our customers will find appealing. We look forward to the opportunities our respective strengths will be able to generate together."
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The multi-year agreement includes initial installation as well as post-warranty support services.
