"BH QuickCart allows us to extend the same convenience and efficiency to big box retailers and home improvement stores, where traditional solutions may not work due to the unique nature of their product mix, especially with very large and quite often very heavy products," CEO Ramesh Ratan said in the press release.
Designed for indoor or outdoor use, the system can accommodate large shopping carts, flatbeds and even full pallets.
Retailers can select from a variety of security options, including physical and virtual locks. The solution can also be refrigerated to accommodate perishable goods. When installed outside the store, it offers a 24-hour pickup option.
BH QuickCart supports both online and call-in orders. Once an order is ready for pickup, the associate checks the order into the BH QuickCart system, which automatically sends the customer a text or email notifying them that their order is ready. The customer scans their barcode or types in the unique code at the kiosk, and the unit identifies and releases the cart or flatbed containing their order.
