SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Customers of El Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) Puerto Rico now have the teller or kiosk choice when it comes to conducting business at bank branches.
BBVA Puerto Rico on Oct. 10 unveiled its new e-corner Internet bank kiosk. Over the next month, the San Juan, Puerto Rico-based bank will place e-corners in 13 branches throughout the island.
The e-corner kiosk, featuring a touchscreen monitor and a telephone, will allow customers to access their accounts and to make payments through BBVA's Internet system. Customers can use the phone to access BBVA's telephone banking services.
BBVA officials said the e-corner program continues a technology commitment that began last year, when the bank made its services available over the Internet.
BBVA is one of 11 banks in Latin America and the Caribbean that belong to the international banking organization Grupo BBVA. The group has nearly 9,000 offices in 37 nations.
