Bay area colleges install free Narcan machines

Bay area colleges are joining the fight against opioid overdoses by installing vending machines that offer free Narcan, which reverses such overdoses, according to a hoodline.com report.

Santa Clara University unveiled a machine that dispenses canisters of Narcan to anyone who wants it.

Oakland University has also installed such a machine, and Stanford University is expected to have one soon.
