Batavia to add EV charging station at public library by November

The Batavia City Council in Batavia, Illinois, has approved an agreement with the Batavia Public Library to install an electric vehicle charging station in the library's parking lot, with completion expected in November, according to a report by The Chicago Tribune.

The station will provide residents with an additional location to charge their electric vehicles and will feature Level 3, or direct-current fast charging, capabilities.

The project is part of the city's effort to expand EV infrastructure and support sustainable transportation options for the community.
