Barcelona, Madrid airports implement kiosks with biometrics

Self-service kiosks with a biometric application that authenticates the traveler's identity have been installed in airports in Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, according toSecureIDNews.

The kiosks can be used by holders of Spanish ID citizen cards or a European Community electronic passport. The biometrics technology was developed by Neurotechnology.
