July 19, 2021

Kilwinning in Ayrshire, a town in Scotland that has not had a bank branch since the Royal Bank of Scotland removed its last branch three years ago, now has a banking kiosk in a supermarket, according to an msn.com report.

The OneBanks kiosk allows customers of any major bank to withdraw and deposit money. Customers will also be able to use the kiosk to do their online shopping from later this month.

The pilot scheme is running until September.
