Bahrain bank introduces self-serve kiosk with biometric technology

Al Salam Bank in Bahrain has introduced a self-service kiosk serving clients 24/7, according to a zawya.com report.

The kiosk features the Benefit Company's biometric and know your customer (KYC) authentication technology.

The kiosks will enable clients to execute:

• Account opening.
• Issuing new debit and prepaid cards.
• Issuing replacement cards.
• Updating personal information instantly.
• Printing IBAN certificates and account statements and outstanding note balances.
