Axiomtek releases Atom-based touchscreen computer

Axiomtek has released the IFO2175-830, a state-of-the-art, Atom-based fanless touch panel computer with 17-inch SXGA TFT LCD. According to a company press release, the new computer is ideally suited for large-size infotainment applications, such as hotel/airport check-in/out, restaurant self-ordering counters and building visit controls.
Axiomtek's system is IPX1-rated and has an IP65-rated waterproof sealed front bezel design to protect the system from water drip damage. The aluminum-cased unit has a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera and microphone/speakers, making it ready for interactive applications.
