Avanti Markets, a micro market hardware and software provider, has upgraded its planogram features to make it easier to adjust market layouts and reset the planogram across multiple markets, according to a blog post. Planograms are a visual representation that show where products are positioned in a micro market.

The company said on its website that as the COVID-19 pandemic persists, operators are needing to make adjustments in their offerings, such as reducing stock keeping units or adjusting the minimum or maximum stock levels.

Other features include:

1. Inactive planograms: The operator can stage a market makeover with a new planogram to replace an existing planogram at a future date.
2. Copy planograms: The operator can standardize market layouts using existing planograms with similar layouts across different locations.
3. Placeholder text: The operator can define areas where drivers can decide what products to place.
4. Adjust stock minimums and maximums: The operator can adjust stock minimums and maximums without switching the screens within the platform.
5. Recent change tags: The operator can quickly see changes that occurred in the last week to allow drivers to maintain stocking efficiency.
6. Printable planograms: The operator can print planograms and provide them to drivers to post them at locations.
7. Swap or replace products: The operator can drag and drop products within the planogram to allow for quick changes.
8. Reorder rows: The operator can reposition entire rows within the planogram.
9. Equipment type description: The operator can use the equipment type to add an equipment label representing the planogram being set up.
