AV speech enhancement solution brings voice ordering to kiosks

Hi Auto, a provider of audio-visual speech enhancement and speaker separation technology, has introduced Touchless.ai, an add-on software solution based on a deep learning algorithm, microphone and camera, according to a press release. Touchless.ai's solution eliminates any type of interfering noise, thus enabling kiosks to reliably respond to voice commands. The solution replaces touch taps with voice commands. Users speak the overlay text listed in conjunction with the choices presented on the kiosk's screen. No wake words, like "OK Google," are needed.

Existing voice interface solutions often underperform in commerce environments that are characterized by background noise, including the difficulty to distinguish the target speaker from other speakers according to the press release.

Touchless.ai's solution integrates with existing kiosk software; no code integration is required.
