Automated Retail Technologies taps Redbox veteran Robert Meek

Automated Retail Technologies, under its subsidiary, Just Baked Smart Bistro, has named Robert Meek as vice president of operations. Meek joins the company following a career at Redbox Automated Retail where he served most recently as senior national operations manager and helped to lead the transition of Redbox DVD kiosks to a full-scale service business where Redbox merchandises and conducts services for multiple third party automated retail companies.

During Meek's tenure the company saw a growth of more than 30,000 Redbox kiosks deployed in the marketplace.

"Our organization has seen a hockey stick growth curve with the anticipation of installing more than 1,000 kiosks this calendar year.
