Austin stadium home to Just Walk Out market

The ATX Market at the Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas is using the Amazon Just Walk Out shopping technology.

Austin FC, the operator of the soccer stadium, said the technology will provide guests with a fast shopping experience during Austin FC matches and other stadium events. The ATX Market is located near The Zebra Gate at Q2 Stadium's northwest corner, according to a press release.

"Austin is one of the world's most important technology hubs and Austin has some of the highest rates of technology adoption across a range of industries, and bringing innovations like Amazon's Just Walk Out technology to Q2 Stadium is a great way to ensure the venue continues to be a representation of the community it calls home," Austin FC President Andy Loughnane said in the release. "We're excited to see this technology in action making the shopping experience faster and easier for Q2 Stadium guests."
