ATMmarketplace doubles users

July 11, 2001

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - More than 10,000 users have registered for ATMmarketplace.com, the Web site portal for the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) industry. Operated by NetWorld Alliance, the sister site of KIOSKmarketplace.com provides news and information on the one-million machine-strong ATM industry. Its number of registered users doubled in the last six months.

Site visitors sign up for the free membership, which allows them access to featured articles, news, information, Message Boards, Classifieds, Storefronts, Product Listings and Industry Links.

The number of registered users grew by an average of 1,000 each month in 2001. In addition, the amount of site requests exceeded previous records. In June, the site received more than 2.5 million hits.

"Membership in ATMmarketplace.com illustrates the growing interest in ATMs, and the growing dependence people have for information from the Web," said Dick Good, NetWorld Alliance's chief executive officer.

Louisville, Ky.-based NetWorld Alliance reached another milestone in May when it became profitable four months ahead of schedule. The company was founded in February, 2000.
