The Keller Army Community Hospital Pharmacy has installed a ScriptCenter prescription pick-up kiosk in its main lobby, according to a notice on the U.S. Army website.
The Keller pharmacy staff controls filling the prescriptions while the kiosk secures storage and allows patients to pick up prescriptions.
The kiosk is currently only for prescription refills. Patients can call the hospital or use Tricare Online and select ScriptCenter for pick up. The medication will be available for pick up after two business days.
Patients must complete a one-time enrollment at the kiosk by scanning their military ID card, entering their birth date and creating a password and four-digit pin.
Patients must have a current prescription number the first time they pick up a prescription. Once an account is established, they can use their fingerprint, ID card or password with their four-digit pin to get their medications.
